User-submitted requests linked to units.

Purpose

Inquiries are the entry point for many interactions between users and property managers and may serve as the starting point for operational workflows.

Inquiries are structured messages submitted by users (Parties of type User) to the responsible property management company. They serve as a lightweight, flexible way for tenants, owners, or residents to report issues, ask questions, or make requests.

Each inquiry is linked to a specific Unit and directed to a Receiver Party (typically the property management company). Furthermore, it should reference a connected Party — indicating for whom the inquiry is being made (usually the user themselves). The creator account of the inquiry will be set based on the used token when submitting the inquiry.

The initial content of an inquiry is provided by the user and includes a report and, optionally, a category and/or attachments. As the inquiry is processed, the property management team can add a completion response or rejection response to provide feedback or resolution details.
